Buddhist Global Relief Walk to Feed the Hungry — Chicago
|October 13, 2012|
|10:00 am||to||1:00 pm|
We are living in difficult times, and there are needy people all around us. Sometimes it feels overwhelming, but if we act together, we can accomplish great things.
Please join us for the first annual Chicago “Walk to Feed the Hungry” held by Buddhist Global Relief! The Chicago walk will be on Saturday, October 13, along the Lakefront Trail in the north side of the city. We will walk 2.5 to 3 miles along the scenic trail bordering Lake Michigan. The starting point will be in Foster Beach, near the intersection of W. Foster Ave and N. Lake Shore Dr, and the ending point will be near the intersection of W. Wavelend Ave and Lake Shore Dr. We will begin to assemble at 10:00 am and anticipate that we will finish before 1:00 pm.
All donations will go to projects funded by Buddhist Global Relief. More information about BGR’s projects is available on the BGR website.
