Two more young Tibetans dead in immolation protests

News reports from Tibet say that two more people have died after self-immolating in protest of China’s continued occupation of Tibet. reports that a 23-year-old woman, Tangzin Dolma, died after setting herself on fire in the Tsemo Region of Rebkong, Eastern Tibet. A large funeral is reportedly being planned for her.

Earlier on Thursday, Phayul also reported, an 18-year-old man named Kharbum Gyal died after self-immolating in Rongwo, also in Rebkong. He leaves behind his parents and six siblings. Other sources give his name as Karpongya and his age as only 14.
