Faith Trust Institute: Clergy Ethics in Jewish, Buddhist, and Christian Communities
On Thursday, December 13, the Faith Trust Institute will offer a free webinar to the general public (registration is required). The webinar roundtable, called “Clergy Ethics in Jewish, Buddhist, and Christian Communities,” will include panelists Rabbi Mark Dratch, Fr. John Heagle, Abbess Myoan Grace Schireson, and Dr. Darryl Stephens.
From the event description: “Join us for a roundtable discussion moderated by Rev. Dr. Marie Fortune on current issues and understandings of healthy boundaries and clergy ethics in Jewish, Buddhist, and Christian communities. Our panelists will discuss particulars within their own tradition regarding expectations for the role of minister/teacher, current efforts to address misconduct, and teachings from their tradition that support prevention and intervention efforts.”
