Right livelihood: FPMT seeks project manager for San Francisco stupa
The Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition is urgently seeking a project manager to oversee the construction of a 30-foot stupa in San Francisco. The stupa has been advised by Rangjung Neljorma Khadro Namsel Drolma to minimize harm from the elements, including earthquakes, in California. The stupa will be a replica of the Mahabodhi Stupa in Bodh Gaya, India.
The project manager will need to create a document and/or model of the planned stupa to show to potential donors, create a budget and timeline, identify land for sale in the area of San Francisco where the stupa is proposed to be built, acquire the land and appropriate building permits, and oversee construction and maintenance of the stupa.
