Annual Festival of Faiths scheduled for May in Louisville

The annual Festival of Faiths, organized by the Council of Interfaith Relations, is planned for May 14–19 in Louisville, Kentucky. This year’s theme is “Sacred Silence: Pathway to Compassion,” drawing on contemplative practice within an interfaith forum to explore the nature of sacred silence. The goal of this exploration is to provide an opportunity for spiritual growth for all people.

The festival culminates with a public address by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Other speakers include Richard Rohr, Matthieu Ricard, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, Elizabeth Mattis Namgyel, Dungse Jampal Norbu, filmmakers Mark Elliott and Victress Hitchcock, and more — click here for a full schedule.
