Help Great Vow Zen Monastery build a new sanzen hut

Hogen and Chozen Bays of Great Vow Zen Monastery, in Clatskanie, Oregon, have made an appeal for $10,000 in contributions to go to a new sanzen hut for conducting student/teacher interviews. In a note to their community, they write:

“The new sanzen hut will be located behind the monastery, near the bamboo grove. It will be used for private interviews, and to house the occasional guest. It will be warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and quiet all year round. Residents and sesshin participants will benefit greatly. “Any donations received that exceed the cost of the sanzen hut will be used for improvements around the monastery, such as better guest beds.”
