New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care moving to new home

This week, staff at the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care will transition to their new home at 119 W. 23rd St., in Manhattan, with the aim to be fully open to the public by September 8. This move marks the first time NYZCCC will have all of its activities “together under one roof which will house a meditation space, three offices, a library, and a beautiful communal area.” According to NYZCCC’s Vision Statement, the Center will also include an end-of-life guesthouse with five to eight bedroom suites for those transitioning out of this life, as well as their friends and families. Plans are in the works for an “Evening of Celebration and Thanks” in October to officially open the new space.

NYZCCC has posted a wish list for those interested in supporting their move.
