Boundless Way’s Worcester Zen Community seeks support to purchase temple building
The Boundless Way Temple/Worcester (MA) Zen Community has announced a capital campaign to purchase and renovate the building it currently leases.
“As envisioned, the renovated space would be fully handicapped accessible, accommodate more people more comfortably than the current structure, and be better configured to support sesshin and its associated practices. In keeping with a vision of the temple as a place of beauty and practice, the new zendo is imagined as a simple, sunlit space overlooking the temple gardens, which is fully integrated into the architecture of the beautiful Victorian building.”
They’re well on their way toward a goal of raising $300,000, but are seeking others to pledge support for the effort through 2014. Visit here for background details and donation opportunities.
