Rubin Museum to confront “Ignorance” in fall public programs

In Buddhism, one is ever enjoined to confront ignorance and, as befits a New York institution, the Rubin Museum of Art is tackling the issue in a big way. The curators have announced “Ignorance” to be the theme of their fall schedule, saying they “aim to clear the path a little” with a robust lineup of unusually paired live conversations (the Gyalwang Drukpa and Susan Sarandon on “The Path Itself”; Karma Thinlay Rinpoche and neurologist Dimitrios Kapagiannis on “Omniscience”), music, film, and lunchtime talks. Tickets for all the events from September through December are on sale now, and you can peruse the full program here.
