July 11, 2014 12:00 amtoJuly 25, 2014 12:00 am

Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico
With guiding teacher Marcia Rose, movement Teacher Wynne Fricke, and writing teacher Sean Murphy

This very special retreat offers a unique opportunity for Dharma students to engage in two weeks of practice grounded in the Vipassana teachings and practice, with an orientation toward investigating “not-self” in relationship to the creative process.  The retreat is open to anyone with a sincere interest in the dharma. Along with sitting, walking, dharma talks, individual practice interviews, and some group discussion, we will explore the flow of creative energy in relationship to self-view via movement/contact improvisation, seeing/drawing, and writing. One need not have experience with any of these creative modalities to participate in the retreat.

The Self/Not-Self and the Creative Process Retreat will be held at the Columbine Inn in beautiful Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico. Yogis will have exclusive use of the lodge and grounds, which provide the privacy, quiet, and sense of harmony most conducive to intensive practice.  Space is limited to 20 yogis — applications are necessary.

Sliding Scale Fees:
Two weeks:  $1,310 (low) -  $1,460 (actual cost) -  $1,610 (benefactor)
Partial Scholarships Available — Application Necessary
