Women in Buddhism: Community Gathering

Northeast USA

December 9, 2013
7:00 pmto9:00 pm

New York City

Join the Interdependence Project on this special evening as we explore the historical underpinnings of the role of women in Buddhism, including gender bias and sexism, and discuss the current situation in the Western Buddhist community today. We’ll also consider ways to establish a Women’s Community within the larger IDP and local NYC Buddhist community.

This by-donation event will be peer-led by Nancy Thompson and Amy Wilder. All are welcome.
