Roshi Joan Halifax, PhD, Richard J. Davidson, PhD, Alfred W. Kaszniak, PhD, Evan Thompson, PhD, John D. Dunne, PhD, and Cliff Saron, PhD, return to present another of this acclaimed program. These neuroscientists, scholars, and Buddhist practitioners give perspectives of neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, and Buddhist studies and practice in order to illuminate the role that social context plays in shaping the mind. Talks, discussions, and explorations with participants are embedded within Zazen practice throughout each day.
