Sitting the body-mind, there is neither inside nor outside. Both, and none of them.
Not caught by distractions, forms, not sucked into inner dreaming, we are the open gate, open threshold of both eyes settled in a serene gaze, not trapped by the world, nor away from it. Looking at nothing in particular, we are looking at everything.
Below is today’s Sit-A-Long video. Remember: recording ends soon after the beginning bells; a sitting time of 20 to 35 minutes is recommended.

Thank you Taigu! Great talk. I've been putting something you said earlier into practice lately, when you said to ask, "Who's sitting?" and that has changed my entire perspective on zazen. Before it was just my ego looking for comfort. Now I just let Buddha sit, which is really just myself. Very inspiring. Thanks again!
Thanks from me too Taigu. Jundo and you have really helped me to realize I have to always work to be a better person and hopefully during that work strive to find a balance. Ironically despite the work I am alot happier, so it must be a good thing!
Your guidance is much appreciated and I look forward to continuing to learn from your and Jundo's examples.
Thank you Taigu for this clear and accessible teaching Gassho
Thank you for this so dynamic talk!
Another slap in the face talk, just what we need
to help us bringing zazen "into life".
Thank you again Taigu sama!
Thank you Taigu for this great teaching, I can listen to you for hours. You inspire me greatly to continue the zen/way and keep on trying to be the best I can be. Please don´t stop blogging!
