If you’ve read our publisher Jim Gimian’s editorial in our May magazine, you might have noticed something a little odd about it. (That Jim calls himself an “Achiever” in the very first sentence may well have tipped you off.) The editorial is loaded with references to The Big Lebowski, and it’s not just because Jim’s obsessed with the Coen Brothers’ cult classic. (Though that’s probably safe to say.)
It’s because we’re giving away five copies of Jeff Bridges and Bernie Glassman’s new book The Dude and the Zen Master.
Details, after the jump.
To enter, just count the number of Big Lebowski references on the editorial page — either inside new May magazine, or online here. Then either join and send a message to the Shambhala Sun’s Facebook page, or shoot an email to digital<at>shambhalasun.com with your answer, your name, and your mailing address. The first five Achievers to respond with the correct (or closest to correct) number of Lebowski allusions by Sunday at 11:59 EST will win a copy. We’ll announce the winners on Monday.
