Shambhala Sun Audio: Noah Levine, Part Two

levine-wpaudiologo-wp1Here’s the second installment of our interview with meditation teacher, author, and Dharma Punx and Against the Stream founder Noah Levine.

Noah’s no-bull (but friendly) approach — as manifested in his books, in his teachings, and here, in conversation — has helped put meditation on the map for a new generation. And it’s been been well-received by his elders in the Buddhist teaching community, too.

In this Shambhala Sun Audio exclusive, Noah talks about — among other things — the challenges his growing community faces, and the value of working with young people in difficult circumstances. To listen, just click the player:

In the third installment, Noah talks about how he deals with all the attention he gets, and why — despite or because of his surprising self-characterization as a bit of a “conservative” — we might just want to consider creating a more “American” Buddhism.
